Coaching in organisations

Space2think work successfully in the public, corporate, and voluntary sectors, providing training, development and coaching opportunities for teams, managers, leaders and organisations. Our work is regarded as being underpinned by a strong value base, and has as its heart participation, involvement, honesty and openness. Space2think provide a range of development opportunities including; one to one coaching; bespoke programmes, and nationally recognised coaching qualifications.

We have worked with such diverse organisations as Heinz UK and Ireland, Black Pepper Software, Cherwell District Council and Hestia a London charity.

Much of our work in organisations has a focus on developing coaching based approaches to leading and learning. We bring sustainable organisational change through individual coaching, facilitating bespoke coaching programmes, ILM accredited coaching programmes and extensive Action Learning programmes.

The impact of our programmes are best described by our clients:

One to one coaching

This is what Sue Smith (Joint Chief Executive, Cherwell District Council and South Northamptonshire Council) said about our coaching:

“I have been coached by Rob Husband for 5 years. Space2think also coach other members of my management team. During that time, both I and the organisation have faced some challenging and difficult times. Rob has provided that confidential space in which to talk openly about what I am finding really difficult, and then has enabled me to see the priorities and what I need to do. Invaluable!”

Coaching programmes:

‘I never realised how powerful a tool coaching can be! This is about me becoming a good coach not just getting a qualification’

(Chris Harvey, Public Sector Learning and Development Manager)

‘An excellent creation of an open learning environment and I felt encouraged to reflect and learn with true support and a high degree of challenge. I came away feeling inspired and enthusiastic.’

(Jill Robinson, 3rd Sector Learning and Development Professional)

“The tutorial element of the course has been very useful and is further demonstration of how skilled Andy and Rob are in this field. I feel fortunate to have found them and to have shared time with them through the programme.”

(Jeannette Attryde, Coach and Consultant, Different Perspectives)

Action Learning programme

“The programme is fantastic…the structure is probably what has made it work more effectively

It was very therapeutic and comfortable to discuss my frustrations. I didn’t feel I could learn anything or benefit but that has now changed. As a manager I have become more of a listener. Rather than telling staff what to do I have managed to coach staff to develop.”

(Hestia Manager)
